Both my son and daughter are constantly playing with their magnetic tiles. I'll be honest what I love most about them is how easy it is to clean them up and obviously the creative play element.
We intermix our generic magnetic tiles and name brand ones. I've found no difference between the two sets and likely if I was to start from scratch I'd go with the generics.
